I am committed to creating a nonjudgmental and compassionate space for clients in therapy. I meet clients where they are at and collaborate with them to develop a treatment plan that will enable them to meet their goals and make the changes they want. I empower clients to use their existing strengths and develop effective coping tools to improve their quality of life.
I approach my work from a trauma informed, mindful, social justice perspective. I believe clients are the experts on their lives and that the therapeutic process is a collaboration between the therapist and client.
I became fascinated with the study of human behavior after taking my first psychology class in high school. By the time I graduated, I know that I wanted to dedicate my career to helping others as a psychotherapist.
I have experience working in for profit and not for profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area and in New York City. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University in NYC and a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.
